Purpose of the project

By making the initial investment with all its components (procurement activities, employment, innovation, internationalization, certification, environmental protection and equal opportunities) the MAR-INA-PRODPREST SRL company took advantage of the existing opportunities on the market, aiming to increase the volume of products of furniture for offices and shops within the company through the production of new products, with the help of the purchased equipment.

The general objective of the project "DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPANY MAR-INA-PRODPREST SRL THROUGH INVESTMENTS IN INNOVATION" was to improve the economic competitiveness by increasing the labor productivity of the company MAR-INA-PRODPREST SRL. The objective was achieved by diversifying the company's activity, by creating new categories of furniture products as a result of carrying out the activities proposed by the project. The new category of furniture, as a result of the innovative process: metal banquettes with a specific design, metal chairs with a specific design, counters with a specific design, showcases, modular shelves, modular cabinets, modular files, modular changing rooms, tables with a specific design, trolleys for restaurants.

The specific objectives of the project were:

1. Process and product innovation within the company given by the purchase of 2 high-performance technological equipment, 2 innovative software, a led lighting system, a photovoltaic system, participation in 1 international fair, 1 recertified ISO 9001 quality management system and 1 process certification obtained;

2. increasing the average number of employees with 1 job from a disadvantaged category;

3. diversifying the company's activity by manufacturing a new category of new products in the field of furniture manufacturing (CAEN code rev. 2 - 3101).

Impact of the investment at the level of the locality/region: The development of society by diversifying the activity, by making new categories of furniture products that lead to the improvement of the competitiveness of the regional economy, by stimulating the production sectors with high added value and stimulating entrepreneurship through access to financing in the urban environment at the level of the Southeast Development Region.

Achieved results: 1 initial investment (diversification of the company's activity) achieved through: 2 innovative and high-performance technological equipment received and put into operation, 2 production software received and functional, an efficient lighting system installed, a functional photovoltaic system, participation in 1 international fair, 1 quality management system ISO 9001 recertified and 1 process certification obtained.
