Gas meter box with inspection window

Main features

• Welded steel construction, rigid and durable.
• Door with an Allen-key (hex) lock (2 keys included) and 2 internal hinges for tamper resistance.
• Viewing window (glass retained with clips, no gasket) – allows index reading without opening the box.
• Ventilation slots on the door to ventilate the internal volume.
• Optional roof: sloped or with drip edge/eave, made from 0.65 mm galvanised sheet steel.
• Two Ø63 mm apertures for pipe/cable entry:
  • one on the right side wall,
  • one on the bottom panel, positioned ~100 mm from the corners.
• Finish: electrostatic powder coating, exterior colour grey (palette RAL 7035).

Use and installation

• Recommended for protecting gas meters and related accessories in outdoor areas.
• Mount to a wall or support structure using anchors/screws suitable for the substrate.
• Pipe entry is via the Ø63 mm apertures; sealing/finishing must follow the authorised installer’s instructions.
• The meter can be read through the front viewing window without opening the door.
