Handle attachment: The connection between the rubber flapper and the wooden handle is made via a 2 mm steel mounting plate. This assembly secures the rubber to the handle with bolts and nuts, ensuring stability and durability in use. It consists of two parts: a clamp plate that grips the handle and a backing plate that clamps the rubber strips together using four M8 x 25 mm round‑head bolts and four M8 self-locking nuts.
Hardwood handle: The sturdy hardwood handle, treated with a fire-retardant solution, provides safe and comfortable handling during firefighting. Length 2 m, diameter 35 mm; finely finished with no splinters or defects for optimal grip.
