Multifunction Door - Endoor - Two-leaf

The Endoor door construction features a double galvanised steel skin, 0.7 mm thick per leaf, and a thermally insulating core made of honeycomb cardboard (on request, supplied with rigid mineral wool). This provides a total leaf thickness of 60 mm, ideal for thermal and mechanical protection.

The door is supplied fully equipped with loose leaves, a three-piece frame, left-hand (SX) or right-hand (DX) opening, reversible in the standard non-glazed version, and consists of:

Main features:

• The leaf is made from two sheets of galvanised steel (0.7 mm each). Total leaf thickness is 60 mm. Includes an overlap onto the frame on the two vertical edges and the top.
• Galvanised steel frame 1.4 mm thick, 3-sided, equipped with flexible clamps for installation into masonry using mortar. The head frame includes removable spacers to be taken out after installation.
• Reversible lockset (can be mounted left or right), designed for use with a standard Euro-profile cylinder, which is not included as standard. The cylinder can be selected separately to suit the required security level.
• Security steel rivets positioned on the leaf edge, and polyamide striker boxes integrated into the frame on the hinge side.
• Black lever handle with a steel core (steel reinforcement is mandatory for fire-rated doors), supplied with backplates in ebonite and a construction key (A temporary key used during installation and site works until the final cylinder is fitted. It has a plastic insert protecting the cylinder hole and allows provisional access during the construction phase without compromising the final mechanism), plus a plastic plug for the cylinder hole. The kit includes a spindle (9×9 mm square), telescopic screws, spacers, pin and Allen key for adjustment.
• Handle centerline height: 1075 mm from floor level on standard models; custom on made-to-order versions.
• Two height-adjustable hinges: one spring hinge for self-closing and one bearing hinge.
• Reinforcement plates built into the leaf for later installation of panic hardware or a door closer.
• Intumescent seal mounted on the frame, 28 mm wide.
• Metal data plate on the leaf edge with identification details.
• Standard finish: semi-gloss paint, RAL 7035 light grey (        ), RAL 9010 pure white, RAL 7016 anthracite grey (        ).
• Approx. weight:
• 20 kg/m² – for the honeycomb core model;
• 30 kg/m² – for the insulated core model.
• Delivered on a wooden pallet, with installation and maintenance manual and conformity documents included. All wrapped in plastic.

Doors ordered with a Slash bar are supplied with a fixing plate included; no cover cap for standard cut-outs.

Advantages of LOCHER Endoor doors

Beyond their standard features—reversibility, easy adjustment, and fast, straightforward installation—LOCHER doors offer additional key advantages.

Certification

The doors are certified to the latest European fire resistance standard, EN 1634. This offers a clear advantage over doors still produced and certified to the Italian national standard UNI 9723, which is being phased out. Customers therefore avoid the risk of having to replace the door later, as happened with panic bars following the Decree of 3 November 2004 (Official Gazette No. 271 of 18 November 2004), which required CE marking or replacement by 18 February 2011.

Robustness

In accordance with European product standard EN 1191, LOCHER doors have passed the initial mandatory mechanical tests required to obtain EN 1634 fire resistance certification. These include repeated opening/closing cycles and impact testing, applied also to glazed components. The results confirm a high-quality design and construction capable of withstanding intensive long-term use.

Certified hardware

All accessories are CE certified and marked in line with current legislation. LOCHER’s rigorous quality control ensures hinges, locks, closing devices and options (panic bars, door closers, etc.) comply with the applicable standards, guaranteeing reliable performance.
